Erasmus+ Be in Balance

Be in Balance

The Be in Balance project focuses on strengthening young people’s mental health by developing their social skills, creativity, and entrepreneurial abilities. Its objectives include improving prevention methods and promoting cross-border cooperation and inclusion. The project will develop an innovative BIB methodology and organize peer-to-peer interpersonal workshops.

Project Partners:

– Diaspora Foundation (Romania)

– Innovative Network (Serbia) – MCC

– Youth Center from Celje (Slovenia)

The three partners meet regularly online to discuss various aspects of the project.

The first meeting took place in Subotica. On this occasion, we finalized the core elements of the upcoming project activities. We also reviewed the project timeline and the key milestones to be achieved.

The project addresses the issue of young people’s mental health. To this end, we will develop a dedicated methodology and train facilitators based on it. These facilitators will then organize workshops for young people. Afterward, it will be up to the youth themselves to pass on the knowledge they have gained to their peers by implementing various activities. In this way, we aim to reach as many young people as possible.

We have started organizing different workshops targeted at youth.

The workshops are delivered by volunteers of the Erasmus+ BIB – BeInBalance project, who participated in the training sessions held in Subotica.

Topics covered so far include: the importance of identity and rights; the role of education in their lives and how it can shape their future; and the development of critical thinking skills, especially in the context of the online environment. All activities and role-playing games encourage critical thinking and teamwork.
